Michele York Obituary

Michele York, age 57 of Grove Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2025. Born on September 30,1967 in Morristown New Jersey, she was the cherished daughter of Michael and Adele (Edwardo) Cresitello, both of whom preceded her in death.
Michele grew up in New Jersey and later moved to Oklahoma where she was delighted to find a sense of community and an extended family. She spent her career as a dedicated attendant at a service station where she was known for her caring nature and bright smile. She had a passion for fishing, tending to her house plants, and painting ceramics which always brought great joy to her and those around her.
She leaves behind her loving daughter Heather Reid of Tulsa Oklahoma and 3 wonderful stepchildren Zedekiah Buscher of Grove Oklahoma, Ashley White of Grove Oklahoma, and Tyler York of Webb City Missouri all whom she shared with her husband Raymond York of Grove Oklahoma. She also leaves behind her sister Maria Cresitello of Barnegat, New Jersey, her niece Jennifer Ehlers and great niece Olivia Ehlers of Davenport Florida, and nephew Bil Facciponte of Mystic Island, New Jersey.
Services are pending and will be announced at a later date. The family is being assisted by Nichols-Stephens Funeral & Cremation Services, located in Grove OK.
