Michelle R. (Prodell) Phillip, 59, formerly of Algoma, passed away in Green Bay on Friday, July 4, 2025, after a thirteen-year battle with breast cancer. She was born in Kewaunee on April 19, 1966, to Ronald and Eleanora Fay (Hanmann) Prodell. She married John Phillip on November 7, 1992, at St. John Church in Luxemburg. They resided in Reedsville, WI where they built a beautiful life and welcomed their daughter Morgan in 1995. John preceded her in death on October 17, 2013.
Michelle worked for many years as the secretary for Holy Family Parish in Brillion. She enjoyed camping, taking road trips, and doing crossword puzzles, but spending time with her family was most important to her. In her younger years, she was a member of the 4H Club and the F.F.A. During her time with the F.F.A., she held many of the officer's positions, with her being the first female to do so.
She is survived by her mother, Fay Prodell; her children, Morgan (Nathan) Koffke, Eric (Katie) Schwister, her Thai daughter, Noppawan "Polly" Sirinoppakun; her grandchildren, Remi Koffke, Easton Schwister, Kinsley Stigen; brother Shawn (Jenny) Prodell; her Godparents, Bill and Eileen Hanmann and Lila Schlorf; her Godchildren, Jason Ihlenfeldt, Blake Hanamann, Jonah Eickert, Levi Groth, Marie Prodell; nephew Dillon Prodell; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Michelle was preceded in death by her husband John; father, Ronald Prodell; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Viola Phillip; grandparents; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Visitation will take place at St. John Lutheran Church, Luxemburg on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Carl Brewer and Pastor Craig VanPay officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
