Mr. Mickey Dwayne Jessee, age 59, a resident of Lake Alfred passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale surrounded by family. Mr. Jessee was born November 22, 1965, in Winter Haven, Florida to Reece Cowan and Dottie Lyvonne (Coley) Jessee. He was a lifetime Polk County resident and attended Winter Haven schools. Mickey was a Repair Technician on Amusement Machines working for 45 years with Lawson Music in Winter Haven. He enjoyed fishing, playing darts, playing pool, music, being on the farm and spending time with his family. He was greeted in Heaven by his parents; 2 brothers – Michael Hart & Larry Jessee; stepbrother – John Key; stepsister – Kris Fulton; uncle – Hugh Chance and nephew – Joshua Ashby. Mickey is survived by his loving family, son – Garrett Jessee; daughter – Kyndahl Jessee; 4 sisters – Samantha Jessee, Kim (Jay) Findley, Melba Cotton & Destiny Hart; stepfather – Arthur "Allan" Ball; stepmother – Wilma Blake; 3 stepsisters – Janine (David) Fields, Jollen Key & Robin Rogal; 2 grandchildren – Whitley & Stetson. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday, August 9th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gandy Cemetery in Bartow.
