Mildred "Diane" Stout, age 60, of Columbus, KS lost her battle with her health and went to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
Diane was born on March 9, 1965, in Mesquite, TX to the late Ben Stout and Marie (Carter) Stout. She grew up in Columbus and lived a short time in California. She loved her time working in restaurant and as an office assistant.
Diane was strong in her faith and enjoyed learning and discussing her Bible. She was a member of the Cherokee Nation and Delaware Tribes of Oklahoma.
Diane loved her fur babies, family, fishing, and spending time on the porch enjoying nature and watching the dogs play. She had the kindest heart that loved big and felt deep. Our hearts are broken for a light that was extinguished too soon.
She was preceded in death by her mother Marie Stout and father Ben Stout of the home.
Survivors include her sister, Sonya Stout (James) Maynard of Neosho, MO; nephews Brandon Gravitt of Columbus, KS, Keyvin Gravitt of Canton, OH, Jonathan (Stephne) Maynard of Carl Junction, niece Kay Wheeler (Maynard) of Carthage, MO and numerous great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her beloved pet, Beauty.
A Celebration of her Life will be on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Bath Naylor Funeral Home. Diane had a hippy soul and dress will be casual. Flip flops and/or sandals are encouraged. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bath Naylor Funeral Home of Columbus, KS.
