Milton was born August 25, 1946 in Williamson, WV, a son of the late Ernest and Okie Sisco Edwards.
In addition to his parents Milton was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Turner Edwards; two sons, Brian Edwards and Timmy Edwards; two brothers, Tarzan Edwards and Harry Edwards; one sister, Theodosia "Theo" Gibson.
Survivors include one son, Richard Edwards and Leann of Iaeger; fsix grandchildren Michelle Bailey and Carl Mullins of Roderfield, Alexis Edwards of Panther, Hannah Edwards also of Panther, Scottie Edwards and Lorrie of Iaeger, Darrell Edwards and Tasha Brinkley; 13 great grandchildren; three brothers, Roger Edwards and Abigail of Iaeger, Freelon Edwards and Rachel also of Iaeger, and Bobby Edwards and Carol of Avondale; five sisters, Armeda King of Horse Creek, Myrtle King of Princeton, Shirley Kennedy and Wayne of Beartown, Elizabeth Rowe of Roderfield and Debbie Key and George of Crumpler.
Friends may visit with the family at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, Friday evening, July 11, 2025 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 12 o'clock with Speaker Deborah Kleintop officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in the Lester Cemetery on Stateline Ridge near Paynesville. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger is assisting the family.
