Mitzi Parks Obituary
Mitzi Marie Bishop Parks, age 55, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. She was a native and resident of Raceland, Louisiana.
Mitzi is survived by her daughter, Mandi Molliere (‘Buda’); sister, Kim Detillier (Kurt); brothers, Horace ‘Tom’ Bishop (Debbie), Bobby Bishop (Melissa), Billy Bishop (Tiffany), and Michael Bishop (Kelly); grandchildren, Logan Molliere, Kylee Owens, Donavin Molliere, Jayden Parks, Jace Parks, Abel Molliere, and Angel Molliere; and great-grandchild, Asher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Ruby Bishop; husband, Ricky Parks; son, Cody Parks; and brother, Jeffrey Bishop.
Mitzi is now eternally reunited with her soulmate Ricky. She was very loved by her family. She adored spending time with her family and her grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved seeing them happy and watching them grow up was a joy to her. She enjoyed watching her crime TV shows and having fun going to casinos.
The Parks family would like to give a special thanks to Ochsner Hospital for always being nice and taking great care of Mitzi.
