Monica L. Hollenbeck, age 92, long time resident of East Bethany, passed away At St. Anne's Care Center in Webster, New York on July 5, 2025.

Monica was born September 16, 1932, in Batavia, New York, a daughter of the late William and Louise (Linsler) Lester.

Monica graduated from Batavia High School and later married the love of her life, Bert Hollenbeck on August 11, 1956. She worked many clerical positions, until her retirement as a bookkeeper for William A. Phillips in East Bethany, NY. Monica enjoyed bowling, camping, reading, and traveling with Bert all across the United States.

She is survived by her children, Paul (Denise) Hollenbeck, Kevin (Christine) Hollenbeck, and Sheila (Todd) Reynolds; grandchildren, Kyle Hollenbeck, Kelly (Casey) Aylesworth, Matthew Hollenbeck, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Hollenbeck, Brian (Faith) Reynolds, Luke Hollenbeck, and Heather Reynolds; great grandchildren, Adeline Reynolds, Kaitlyn Aylesworth, Cara Aylesworth, and Nathan Hollenbeck.

In death, Monica is reunited with her husband, Bert Hollenbeck (2003); Daughter, Joan Marie Hollenbeck (1961) and brother, John Lester.

Friends may call on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 9:30 am at Resurrection Parish, St. Joseph's Worship Site, 300 East Main Street, Batavia. She will be laid to rest in East Bethany Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Monica's memory to Rochester Regional Heath Homecare Hospice, 330 Monroe Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607 or The Bethany Volunteer Fire Department, 10510 Bethany Center Rd, East Bethany, NY 14054
