Monica Ivette Vidal, aged 52, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, in Plant City, Florida, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on April 1, 1973, in Brownsville, Texas, to her proud parents, Raul and Maria Vidal. Monica's vibrant spirit and infectious smile were a source of joy to all who knew her.
Monica's life was a beautiful tapestry of love and laughter, woven with the threads of her deep commitment to her family and friends. She is survived by her cherished partner, Victor, and her beloved daughter, Nancy Vidal. Monica's legacy also lives on through her treasured grandson, Ariel, who brought her immeasurable happiness.
She was a sister, aunt, and friend of inestimable value. Her siblings, Hector Vidal, Alicia Tapia (Jose), Diana Guzman (Helpidio), Raul Vidal Jr., and Hilda Garcia, will forever hold dear the memories of their sister's vivacious character. Monica was also a beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews - Diego, Makayla, Elena, Luis, Uvaldo, Jose, Yanelly, and Ediel - each of whom she adored with all her heart.
Monica's zest for life was evident in her love for parties and cookouts, where she was often the life of the celebration. Her enthusiasm for scratch-off tickets, Coca-Cola, and all things pink and glittery was matched only by her passion for dancing. She was the person who could always be counted on to bring laughter and spirit to any gathering, often sharing stories that would leave everyone in stitches.
A dedicated employee at Lids Work for over 25 years, Monica's work ethic was unparalleled. Her colleagues knew her as a hard worker whose big smile and positive attitude could brighten even the most challenging days. Monica's presence in the workplace was as much a part of her identity as her love for her family.
Monica's life was one of love, humor, and spirit - qualities that she embodied every day. Those who were fortunate enough to know her will miss her warmth, her laughter, and her spirited personality. Monica's family takes comfort in knowing that her legacy will continue to shine through the lives of those she touched.
As a final tribute to Monica, her family kindly requests that those attending her services honor her memory by wearing black and pink, a reflection of her love for these colors and her sparkling personality.
Monica Ivette Vidal's life was a gift to all, and though she has departed from this world, the memory of her loving, funny, and spirited nature will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. Her story does not end with her passing, for the love she shared will continue to resonate, and her spirit will dance on in the laughter and joy of her family and friends. Rest in peace, dear Monica, until we meet again.
