Our beautiful sister Moriah Leslie Smith passed away on June 22nd, 2025 at the age of 28. Born in Livingston, Montana, everyone knew her as a witty, creative, sweet, adventurous, and brilliant soul. She loved her cats, reading, decorating her planner, antiquing, tattoos, Hozier and Taylor Swift, Lofthouse cookies, owls and foxes, sunsets, and most of all, her husband and her kids. Whether it was working as a corrections officer in Kentucky, taking her children on adventures, kicking butt at her workout classes, or getting competitive at board games, she brought wry humor and strength to everything she did. She leaves behind her husband Logan, and her three beautiful kids Moxie (9), Bridger (8) and Josephine (6.) She also leaves behind her parents Brandon and Mitzi, and siblings Ana, Leah, Isaac, Noah, Levi, Sophie, Reuben, Salome, and Rivkah. A private service to celebrate her life will be held in Ohio on June 29th, 2025.

It has been so long since I have seen Moriah. I remember her as quite the little spit-fire of her sisters--at the time, just Anna and Leah. I am so sorry to hear of her loss. May the Lord bring peace and comfort to her family. 1 Cor. 4:13
