Mr. Billy Michael Jessee

December 14, 1957 - July 29, 2025

Billy Michael Jessee, age 67, born December 14, 1957, passed away on July 29, 2025. Mike was saved at the age of 8 years old and a member of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church. Mike was a kindhearted loving soul and an avid UT fan as well as a lifelong farmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Billy and Phyllis Rowe Jessee, father-in-law Rev. Paul Collingsworth, grandparents Clayton and Emalee Rowe, Herbert and Esther Jessee.

Mike is survived by his wife of 45 years Freda Collingsworth Jessee, daughter and son-in-law Katherine (Katie) Michelle and Christopher Edds and a very special grandson Caden Henry Edds, step grandsons: JT (Brittany) Edds, Wesley (Alicia) Edds and great grandson Colton Edds. His mother-in-law Edith Collingsworth, sisters-in-laws: Karen (Roger) Brooks, Patricia Collingsworth, Rita Collingsworth, brother-in-law Tim Collingsworth and special "sister" cousins: Kim Harmon Reece and Kristi Harmon. Uncle Jim (Joan) Rowe and several nieces, nephews, cousins and workout friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday July 31, 2025, from 5:00pm till 7:00pm at the Claiborne~ Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services to follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Billy Westmoreland and Johnathan Claggett officiating. Music will be provided by David Painter. The burial will be on Friday August 1, 2025, at 10:00AM at the Cook- Pleasant View Cemetery.

Pallbearers: JT Edds, Wesley Edds, Larry Hurst, Rex Jessee, Dewight Duncan and Matt Reece.

Honorary pallbearers: Dennis Reece, Tony Harmon, Todd Harmon, Tim Collingsworth and Rick Dunifer.
