Mr. Johnnie Wayne Vereen, 69 of, Myrtle Beach, SC passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach, SC. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Little Prong Missionary Baptist Church, 5213 Little Prong Rd. NW, Ash, NC 28420. Burial will follow at Little Prong Cemetery in Ash, NC. Viewing will be held from 12:00-1:00PM on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Little Prong Missionary Baptist Church and following the services.
Mr. Vereen is survived by (3-Son’s) Darmus Bellamy (AKA: Tookie) (Tarmeco) of Ash, NC, Johnnie D. Bellamy of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Donte’ Vereen of Myrtle Beach, SC; (1-Daughter) Delmonchia (Anthony) Green of Myrtle Beach, SC; (14-Grandchildern); (5-Great-Grandchildren); (4-Sister’s) Bonnie Patterson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Pearl Frink of New Jersey, Latricia Vereen of Charlotte, NC, and Arnetha Vereen of Ash, NC; (3-Brother’s) Jimmy (Carol) Brockington of Georgetown, SC, Clifton (Rosa) Vereen of Ash, NC, and Joe R. Vereen of Longwood, NC; Host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit the family at the home of Darmus (AKA: Tookie) & Tarmeco Bellamy/5283 Marlow Rd. NW, Ash, NC 28420.
