Mr. Wheeler E. King age 95 of Tazewell, TN was born August 26, 1929, and passed away July 24, 2025. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Wheeler retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was a faithful member of the Dogwood Heights Baptist Church. Wheeler had a small business 'Wheeler Videos' that he operated for many years at the Giles Flea market.
He was preceded in death by his:
Wife: Pauline Slusher King
Parents: Tip and Fannie King
Daughter: Wanda Inez King Nowak
Brothers: James King and Ray King
Mother of his children: Marcella Potter King
He is survived by his:
Sons: Archie and (Marifaith) King, Donald and (Gerrie) King, Gerald and (Kellie) King
Daughter: Susan and (David) Hampton
Stepdaughter: Gail Calloway
Sisters: Lola King Wynn, Geraldine King Allison, and Dorothy King Bradley

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 11AM until 1PM in the Claiborne – Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with Funeral Services to follow at 1PM with the Rev. Travis Pressnell and Rev. Mickey York officiating.
Graveside Services will follow in procession to the Green Hills Cemetery in Middlesboro KY
Pallbearers: Adam King, Alex King, Jeff Johnson, Johnny Chumley, Jonathan York, and Mickey York.
