Myra J. Lindstrom, 83, of Bath, Ohio passed away Monday, July 7, 2025. She was born June 9, 1942 in Pennsylvania to Martha Kay (Bice). She was raised by Allen and Helen Westover in Westover, PA and grew up with Benjamin and Martha Kay in Cleveland, OH. After graduating from John Adams High School, Myra spent some time at Ohio University. She then went on to work at St. Alexis Hospital and Harshaw Chemical Company, where she met her loving husband of 58 years, Harold. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to many.
Myra had a compassionate, loving spirit, and spent many years volunteering with her children’s activities and serving as a PSR Catholic School teacher at St. Hilary Catholic Church for over 15 years. She was a long-time employee and volunteer with Revere Local Schools serving in several positions and retiring in 2000. After retirement, Myra enjoyed traveling, including spending several months in Florida each year; reading; crocheting; spending time with her Red Hat Society group of dazzling women; and especially time with her grandsons. She loved children and was an amazing mother, grandmother, and surrogate grandmother.
Myra had an extraordinary gift for nurturing deep, lasting relationships with those around her. Myra’s home was always open, serving as a gathering place for family and friends. She will be remembered as an incredibly giving person, who never met a stranger.
She is survived by her husband, Harold; children, Greg, and Kristen (Jeff); grandsons, Erik and Kyle Lindstrom; sister, Sue Kay; nephew, Jay Westover; and a vast network of friends who became family.
Myra was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Jerry Westover.
