Nada "Jane" Baldwin, 97, passed away on June 21st, 2025 in Lewisville, Texas. Jane was born in Midlothian, Texas on June 15th, 1928 to John M. and Aylene P. Brown (Witherspoon). Jane married Orien Holmes Baldwin Jr. on September 7th, 1946, and together they raised a daughter and a son, Connie Gayle and Orien Dean.
After the tragic and untimely death of her husband "O.H", Jane attended and completed classes at a well-known business college leading to a career in retail Customer Service and later in Finance and Administrative Service in the Grand Prairie Independent School District where she served admirably for 28 years until her retirement.
At her passing Jane was one of the oldest and active members of First Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Texas having joined that congregation in 1959. Her lifetime love of the Lord Jesus led her to serve and lead in many capacities such as Young Women's Ministries as well as Adult and Senior Adult Ministries and activities. Jane was also active in the Grand Prairie Women's Club and the "Gopher Club".
Jane had a passion and an amazing talent as a seamstress. She was known for designing and making many beautiful crafts as well. Christmas Wreaths, dolls, party favors, table centerpieces, and flower arrangements were just a few of the things she enjoyed creating. While making these beautiful items gave Jane immense joy, most of all she enjoyed giving those "one of a kind treasures" to friends and loved ones. As an accomplished seamstress she was also very proud of the over 200 dresses she made in support of underprivileged children ministries.
Jane was preceded in death by parents John and Aylene Brown, husband Orien Holmes Baldwin Jr, brother Lynn Brown and his wife Louise, brother Bill Brown, sister Daphine Mickelson and husband Vernon, and son in law Jackie Williams. She is survived by her daughter Connie Gayle Williams, her son Orien Dean Baldwin and wife Connie, sister in law Betty Brown, grandson Kevin Williams and his wife Molly, grandson Derek Williams and his wife Julie, granddaughter Miranda Lashinski and her husband Mike, grandson Seth Baldwin and his wife Emily, great grandson Colton Williams and his wife Kassie, great grandson Caden Williams, great granddaughter Regan Williams, great grandson Ryan Williams, great grandson Cooper Lashinski, great grandson Brody Lashinski, great granddaughter Katelyn Lashinski, great granddaughter Claire Baldwin, great granddaughter Meredith Baldwin, and great grandson Anderson Baldwin.
