Namiko Hartman, age 97, formerly of Ionia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. She was born on May 27, 1928, in Okinawa. On June 21, 1951, she married the love of her life, John Hartman.
Namiko enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband. And she adored her dog, Pepper.
She is survived by her nieces, Darlene Holsted, Bonita Bush and Kathleen Williams; several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, in 2015; in-laws, Lemual and Maple Hartman; sister-in-law, Gertrude Worthy; and nephews, James Worthy, Tom Clore and Edward Pitcher.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM, Monday, June 30, 2025, at Balcom Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Ionia. Online Condolences can be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com.
