Nancy Lee Arent was welcomed into heaven July 6, 2025 at the age of 75. She was born August 22, 1949 in Nebraska to the late Forest and Hazel Warren.
Family and friends will gather for visitation Monday, July 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Seadrift Texas with burial to follow at Seadrift Cemetery.
Nancy married her love, Ira Dale Arent August 22, 1969 in Bradshaw, Nebraska. She worked as a school nurse in Seadrift, Texas for 24 years. She was also a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW. Nancy enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, playing trivia and board games with family, reading and loved watching Jeopardy. She also enjoyed antiquing and junking. She loved her cows, sitting on her back porch watching the deer and spending time with family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those that had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her spouse, Ira Dale Arent; daughter, Larae Lynn "Bambi" Arent; brother, Rex Warren and wife, Charlene; sister, Barbara Jean Warren.
Leaving to cherish her memory is her daughter, Laura Ann Davis; son, Lee Garrett Arent (Brenda); grandchildren, Elizabeth Marthiljohni (Brian), Damian Davis, Joshua Arent, Nathan Arent (Taylor Pauli), Heidi Ross (Jeremy), Tasia Johnson (Jim), Arturo Leyba and Lexi Weaver; great-grandchildren, Shailee Ross, Tristen Ross, Hunter Davis, Sophia Davis, Brecken Johnson, Bella Johnson, Libby Weaver, Camren Rascon, Axel Rascon, Ira and Emma Marthiljohni; great-great-grandchild, Kolter Cox; along with many other family members and friends.
The family requests donations be sent to Hospice of South Texas or Sodalis Victoria Senior Living. Flower deliveries need to be delivered on Monday morning to First United Methodist Church in Seadrift, Texas.
