Nancy Ruth Ball, 79, died on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Community Hospital Anderson.

Born and raised in Michigan, Nancy moved to Indiana when she married Warren "Sonny" Ball in February of 1965. She is the daughter of Stanley and Frances Norton (both deceased). She was also predeceased by their daughter, Kayla Ball. Nancy and Sonny raised their granddaughter, Kyla after her mother's death. Nancy is survived by husband Sonny; granddaughter, Kyla; one sister, Marilyn Ottevaere (James); two brothers, Robert Norton and Ronald Norton. She is also survived by a niece and three nephews.

Nancy was very dedicated and a hard worker. She was an insurance agent for over 25 years as well as working as an administrative assistant to Bill Creviston and Alan Jordan.

Nancy and Sonny owned and operated Sonny's Pizza in Eaton, where she could be found working alongside her husband. Later, the two open a convenience store in Eaton. For the past 23 years, Sonny and Nancy could be found serving ice cream from one of their two ice cream trailers. They enjoyed traveling to many of the festivals in East Central Indiana. Most of all, Nancy will be remembered for her pies.

She was a long-time member of Sigma Phi Gamma where she served as president and vice-president.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Joe Hines officiating. Entombment will take place at Eaton Union Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:00 to 2:00 pm prior to services.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
