Nancy Kay Ritchey, 82 passed away on July 14 2025, in Louise, Texas. Born on November 7, 1942, Nancy spent most of her life in The Southern Tier of New York State, embracing the role of homemaker and cherishing the time spent with her grandchildren. In her later years, she returned to her Texas roots, living close to her oldest daughter. Nancy is survived by her children Michael Savino of Lafayette, LA, Marja Lutringer (Savino) of Louise, Tx, and Maris Doyle of Elmira, NY. Her love and legacy continue through her grandchildren, Gavin Orr, Griffin Doyle, Michealla and Ethan Savino, Trevor and Paige Lutringer, and great-grandchild Ivy Mae Orr. She was preceded by her parents Thomas Weldon Ritchey and Dessie Faye Waters Neal, as well as her brother Dale Arthur and Peggy Greenwood.
A graduate of Abernathy High School, Nancy dedicated her life to her family, mastered the art of knitting and sewing, which brought great joy and provided cherished gifts to her loved ones.
Nancy's life marked by her devotion to her family, her skillful handiwork, and the warmth she brought to every room. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
