Nancy A. Swoboda
March 17, 1964 – December 12, 2024
Nancy A. Swoboda, 60, of Two Rivers, WI, passed away on December 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Known for her vibrant personality and kindhearted nature, Nancy touched the lives of everyone she met with laughter and warmth.
Born on March 17, 1964, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Nancy spent her childhood and much of her life in her beloved hometown. She was a proud graduate of South Division High School and Stratton College, where she began cultivating her love for connecting with people and making others smile.
Nancy is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Swoboda; her sons, Ryan (Elisabeth) Ledoda and Dylan (Danielle) Swoboda; her sister, Donna (Nedjo) Sucevich; her brother, Reinhold (Donna) Ahnert Jr.; her mother-in-law: Bernice Swoboda; brother-in-law: John (Laurie) Swoboda and her nieces and nephews. She is reunited in eternal peace with her parents, Reinhold Sr. and Barbara Ahnert; her brother, Donald Ahnert; and her father-in-law Arthur Swoboda.
Nancy found joy in the simplest moments, whether it was crocheting a cozy blanket, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or spending time surrounded by friends and family. She had a passion for all things Dolly Parton, her admiration evident in her knowledge of Dolly's life and music. Her unwavering ability to brighten any room made her a source of joy to all who knew her.
Above all, Nancy will be remembered for her infectious sense of humor and her determination to make every situation a little lighter. Her laughter was a gift, and she made it her mission to ensure those around her always had a reason to smile.
Nancy's family extends their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this time. We would also like to give special thanks to Crystal and Marisa of St. Croix Hospice for their tender care and support.
A celebration of Nancy's life will be announced at a later date. Friends and family will be invited to come together to honor her memory, share stories, and continue the legacy of love and laughter she left behind.
