Nathaniel Ozias McKamey age 19, departed this life on Saturday, October 18, 2025. He was born on March 2, 2006 to Robert McKamey and Kimberly McKamey. He was a graduate of the Scott High Class of 2024. Nathaniel enjoyed video games, hanging with family, friends, listening to old music and going to the race track. He was a member of Five Blackgums Baptist Church. Little did we know, the day that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
He was preceded in death by his: Grandfather: Calvin Lay; Grandmother: Miriam Lay; Great-Aunt: Betty Lou Ward.
He is survived by his wife: Holly Patty McKamey; Parents: Robert and Kimberly McKamey; Father and Mother-in-law: Tim and Lacie Patty; Sister: Emily Phillips and husband Chris; Brothers: Aaron McKamey and wife Makayla, and Wesley McKamey and fiancé Jamilia Hicks; Sister-in- law: Paige Patty; Nieces and Nephews: Kolton McKamey, Stetson Phillips, Aiden McKamey, Oaklynn Hart, Raiden Gibson and Jenson Gibson; Grandparents: Robert and Brenda McKamey, and Naomi Byrge; Special friends who were like brothers: Noah Lay and Shannon Silcox; host of Aunts, Uncles, family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until time of funeral service to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Rev. Ben Lay, Rev. CW Frakker, and Rev. Eugene Lay officiating. Music to be provided by the Beech Fork Choir. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lay Family Cemetery in the Rockhouse Community.
