Neal Joseph Haydel, 71, a native of Hahnville, LA and a resident of Vacherie, LA, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA.
He is survived by his siblings, David Haydel, Randall Haydel (Carol), Barbara Burk, Janet Faucheux (Thomas), Brett Haydel, Clay Haydel, Allen Haydel (Leah), sister-in-law, Veronica Haydel, godchild, Blane Faucheux and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Hazel Tregre Haydel; brother, Mark Haydel, sister-in-law, Juanita Haydel and brother-in-law, Charles Burk.
Neal was retired from Cytec and Enterprise. He was a former member and Fire Chief of the Hahnville Volunteer Department. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
