She was a graduate of I.C. Norcom High School. She received her associate's degree from Tidewater Community College. Netria also served as a home health care provider.
She is predeceased by her aunt, Evangelist Catrina Nichols; uncle, Kelvin Hines; grandfather, Joshua O. Hines, Jr., and grandmother, Nancy Hunter.
Netria leaves to honor and cherish her memory her fiancé, Ronald Armistead; daughter, Cierra Armistead; sisters, Shakia Griffin and Patrice Hines; brother, Joenathan Hines (Tashawna); grandmother, Roberta Hines; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of devoted family and friends. Also, her best friend, Cierra, and godmother, Ciara Sunkins.
