Survivors include children, Robert Edward "Buggs" Sikes, Diana Lynn Sikes Pearson, and Terry Lynn Sikes Gillam; grandchildren, Jamie Ewing Tice, Robert Eugene Ewing, Amanda Lee Gillam, Shandy Villani, Kyle Sikes, Dallas Shane Gillam, Holly Kyle and Dylan Sikes; great-grandchildren, Johnathon Ewing, Brennen Tice, Chase Tidwell, Zackery Sikes, Makenna Kyle, Jaxon Tanton, and Raiden Tanton; sisters, Joyce Mosley, and Peanut Brakenridge; plus numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert F. Sikes; sisters, Edna Roberts, Myrtle Whale, Erma Barnett, and Carolyn White; and brother, Junior.
A gathering of Mrs. Sikes' family and friends will begin 2:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Church of Christ, 1035 North Pine Street, Kountze. Her interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard's, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.
