Norma Jeannie Espinoza M. went home on June 23, 2025. She was born on July 11, 1953, in Antonito CO to Alberto and Bertina Vigil Espinoza.
Jeannie had a passion for Spanish music (New Mexico), dancing, reading, oil painting, cooking, fishing, and hunting. She loved the valley and its beauty and the mountains.
She is survived by her sons: Ronnie (Maria), Skotty (Audra), Jon (Petey) Morris. The jewels of her life, her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Stephanie, Reena, Haylie, Dylan, Kameron, Madison, Sienna, Genesi, Jonah, Malachi, Luis, and Samuel. Brothers: Al (Kris), Ruben (Clara) Espinoza. Sister: Lena (Vivian RIP) Lujan. Nieces: Lisa Marie Espinoza, Miranda Acosta, and Gianna Lujan. Her nephews: Michael Lujan, Kristopher Espinoza, Alexus, Gorgio Acosta, and Kevin Lum. Several Special Friends: Glenda Gonzalez, Angel Garcia, Linda Abeyta, and Carolyn Garcia Gallardo. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Jeannie is preceded in death by her parents Alberto and Bertina Vigil Espinoza, Sister: Greta Espinoza, Brother: Victor Espinoza, Grandson: Jordon Morris, Nephew: Alejandro Martinez, Niece: Tamara Lujan, as well as many aunts, uncles, and a very special friend Cora Pacheco.
Per Jeannie's request there will be no viewing and cremation was chosen. Vigil service with recitation of the rosary will be on July 13,2025 at 7 PM. Memorial Mass will be on July 14,2025 at 11 AM both at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Conejos. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
