Norman Wayne Jouett, Jr. (91), a devoted husband of 69 years, passed away on July 1, 2025 in Broomfield, Colorado. Norm was born on April 21, 1934 in Denver, Colorado to Norman W. Jouett and Juanita I. Jouett. He had one sister, Joanne Magnussen. Norm graduated from South High School and attended the University of Denver where, in 1959 he was awarded a bachelor's degree in accounting. On June 17, 1956 he married the love of his life, Lois Johnson. They had two children, Janis and Jon.
Norm's accounting career included working for Key Business Forms in Denver before taking a job at Sill-TerHar Ford in Broomfield where he worked until his retirement. He then went to Bandon, Oregon at the request of the Ford Motor Company to help straighten out a dealership there.
Norm was a founding member of Lutheran Church of Hope where he served faithfully as choir director, a member of council and a long-time member of the financial ministry. He sang in the church choir and was a member of the Bell Choir for many years.
Norm loved to sing and was a member of various community choirs and Barbershop choruses and quartets. In the early days of Broomfield, he was a member of the Jaycees and the Parks Commission. He volunteered at Broomfield Jr. High where he helped students with their reading and math and also accompanied the Broomfield High Band on a trip to San Antonio with Jon.
Norm loved camping, traveling, and the family cabin in the mountains. He received a special gift on his 25th birthday when his daughter Janis was born. He and Jon shared a love of fishing.
Norm was known for his honesty, strong work ethic and his devotion to his family.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Jouett; his daughter and son-in-law Janis and Gary Fjeld; his son and daughter-in-law Jon and Susan Jouett; his grandchildren Jenna Fjeld-Kuder and Nathan Fjeld; and by eight nieces and nephews.
