Odean Woods, 89, of Kaufman, TX passed away on July 4, 2025. Odean was born on June 19, 1936, to James and Jane McNeece in Carolina, MS. She was a seamstress and worked at several different places sewing all kinds of different clothing. Odean was married to James woods for over 50 loving years. She enjoyed sewing, working in her vegetable garden and cooking and canning out of her garden, and doing word puzzle games. Odean was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. Her parents, James and Jane, husband James, children: Johnny Lee Woods and Leann Denise Osborne; siblings: Buck McNeece, Robert McNeece, Sunny McNeece and Dorothy Kipton preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Judy Kiggins and husband Dennis, grandchildren: Shana, Amber and husband Bill, Kristy, Misty Ann and Cody; great grandchildren: Dylan, Daylan, Jaylon, Braylon, Zaylon, Austin, Justin, Dustin, Kloey, Bryson, Quintan, Gabriel, Waverly, Lainey and Ryder; great-great grandchildren: Leighton, Hudson, Harper, Luke, Gracie and Fletcher, Greyson and Karter; siblings: Betty Easter and husband Jr., Linda Devaughn and Jackie McNeece and wife Liz; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
