She worked at St. Martin Primary as a Teacher's aide and attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now ULL).
Odile is survived by her children, Jeanne Fuselier Heatherly (Mark) and Carl Cecil Fuselier (Brenda); grandchildren, Tyler Heatherly, Claire Heatherly, Camille Fuselier, and Cameron Fuselier (Kimberly); great-grandchildren, Elijah Stutes and Noah Fuselier; brothers, Lawrence Dupuis and Allie Dupuis, Sr.(Nola); sister, Louella Verret; brothers and sisters in law, Palmer "Poppy" Fuselier, Jr. (Virginia), Sidney Fuselier (Pat), and Terry Dupuis; and many nieces and nephews.

Odile loved her husband Cecil, their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They brought her much joy and pride. She delighted in visits from family and friends when they dropped by to check on her.
Her friends knew where to find good company, a hot cup of coffee, and great food.
Odile's home is filled with pictures and memories of a life well-lived. She will be sorely missed.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Melissa Girouard Boudreaux, Odile's caregiver, as well as the staff at Landmark of Acadiana in Cade.
