Ollie Zachariah Beck, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and Native Texan, passed away on July 2, 2025, in Temple, Texas. Born on September 12, 1952, in Loraine, Texas, Ollie's journey through life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and country. A graduate of Lubbock High School in 1971, Ollie enlisted in the United States Army. He proudly served his country as a Military Police officer, stationed in Germany. His service to his country was one of his proudest accomplishments, and he carried the values he learned in the military throughout his life. After fulfilling his duties, he returned to Lubbock, Texas, moving to Houston in 1992. Eventually, he settled in Bellville and found his true home in Bryan, Texas. Ollie embarked on a fruitful career as a salesman with a landscaping company. His passion for landscaping extended beyond his profession; it was reflected in his hobbies, where he enjoyed tending to his yard and showcasing his craftsmanship through woodworking. He found joy in all kinds of music, which complemented the warmth and love he shared within his home . 

Ollie leaves behind a loving family, including his daughter, Veronica Ronnie Maas, and son, Nathan Beck. He was the cherished grandfather of Micala Maas, Zac Maas, Michael Maas, Kesslen Beck, and Wyatt Beck, and the proud great-grandfather of Riley Maas, Zayne Maas, Dawson McConnell, and Wade McConnell. He is also survived by his sisters, Xan Jones, Janice Sabin, Cora Gann, and Billie Figgins, as well as brothers Thomas Beck and James Beck, along with numerous other relatives and dear friends who are left to cherish his memory. 

Ollie was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Beck and Ollie Mae Follis Beck; Sisters, Dollie Beck, Lavirl Beck, Ada Maxine Butler, Bennie Jo Murphy, and Dorothy Bishop. Brothers, Wray Beck, David Beck, Robert Sanders, and Dwane Beck. His legacy of love, service, and commitment will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life.
