Omi Jovanovich, 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 7, 2025.

Memorial services held July 21 at 3:00pm at Conrad Mission Church.

Omi was born in Ottawa, IL to Thore and Myrtle Alsvig on December 23, 1931. She grew up on the family farm in Grand Ridge, IL with her 6 siblings.

She married Harold Jovanovich on June 16, 1951 and felt the Lord richly blessed her when daughter, Diane, and son, Jay, were born. She loved being a mom, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was everything to her.

Omi became a certified nurse's aide who felt it was her calling to lovingly take care of the elderly. She had a compassionate heart to serve the Lord as a CNA in Illinois and then in the nursing home and Heritage Center in Shelby, MT.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Allan) Underdal of Shelby; her son, Jay of Whitefish; four grandchildren, Peder (Kari) Underdal, Chad Underdal, Ryan Underdal all of Shelby and Loralee (Tim) Lords of Belt; nine great grandchildren, Maddison and Gage Underdal, August, Kolben, Linden, Omi Aikins, Danika and Madisyn Lords and Jim (Morgan) Smith and their son, Rowen; brother, Wayne (Sharon) Alsvig; and sister, Sandra Wilson both of Illinois.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marvin Alsvig; and sisters, Thelma Kyle, Arlene Nickle, and Pearl Pastorik.

Omi was a woman of faith who richly blessed our family with a wonderful Christian heritage. She was our family's prayer warrior that no one can replace.
