Oralia F. Hernandez, 67, of Skidmore, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025. She was born on July 7, 1957, in Mathis, Texas, to Rufino and Felipa Z. Figueroa. Oralia loved to spend her time gardening and watching Hallmark Movies. Oralia was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Oralia is preceded in death by her parents; Rufino and Felipa Z. Figueroa, her brother; Rene Figueroa, and her grandchildren; Jasmine Hernandez and Markus Salinas.
Oralia is survived by her loving husband of 50 years; Sabino Hernandez, and their children: Roger (Meghan) Hernandez, Roland Hernandez, Mary Helen (Dominic) Olivarez, Rebecca (David) Aguilar, Miroslava (John Murphy) Munoz, Michelle Hernandez, Ruby (Beth Chapa) Hernandez, Nicole (Jose) Moreno. Oralia is also survived by her sisters, Diana (Roy) Montemayor, Rose (Loy) Castenada, and Sandra Figueroa.
A Visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm with the Holy Rosary to be held at 7:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Skidmore, Texas, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:00am. Interment will follow Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roger Hernandez, Roland Hernandez, Dominic Olivarez, Jose Moreno, David Aguilar, and John Murphy.
