Oran Richard Obituary

The family has chosen to honor Oran's wishes of cremation, under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home.
Pastor Nick will be officiating the service.
Oran was born on December 3, 1936, in New Iberia, LA. He lived a full and interesting life. Oran served in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper. He worked selling automobiles in his community for many years. Beyond Oran's work pursuits, he loved playing music and making people laugh. A beloved husband, father and grandfather who left many cherished memories to live on in the ones he held most dear. "Life was good. It was fun. Thanks to everyone." - Oran Richard.
Oran is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Julie Richard; his two sons, Chad Richard and Dustin Shell; his daughter, Lea Richard; his three grandchildren; Jennah, Devan, and Laicen; his two great-grandchildren; as well as his beloved dog, Ellie.
Arrangements has been entrusted to Matthews funeral Home of Jennings, LA.
