Orvie Shannon Obituary
Shag was a 1968 graduate of MHS. After graduation, he joined the US Army. Later in life, Shag began working for Chevron Oil and retired after 30+ years. Shag had many hobbies, he especially enjoyed cooking bar-b-que for his friends and family.
Shag Shannon is survived by his son, Danny Shannon; granddaughter, Keifer-Lee Shannon; brother, Butch Shannon (Dianne); nieces, April Luke (Cary), Amber Joiner (Rob), Allison Autry (Rob), and Michelle Vice (Terry), grand nephews and nieces; aunt, Faye Culbertson; special friend, Karen Davis, as well as numerous friends and family.
Shag is preceded in death by his parents, Danny and Dale Shannon.
To honor Shag at his request, there will be no memorial service.
