Pamela "Pam" K. Reynolds, 74, of Ottumwa passed away on February 22, 2025 at 4:50 p.m. at Prestige Care Center in Fairfield, Iowa.
She was born September 28, 1950 in Creston, Iowa to Gordon C. and Betty J. (Davis) Reynolds. A 1968 graduate of Pekin High School, Pam then became the lead singer in several bands through the 1970's and 1980's, most notably "Shabazz and Tim Pam Alley". She was a licensed nail technician and cosmetologist for many years before attending Buena Vista University in Ottumwa and completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art. She taught Special Education at Davis County High School until her retirement in 2014.
Pam is survived by her brother, Dennis (Kelly) Reynolds of Maryville, IL, Sister Lisa (Steve) Roberts of Richland, IA, three nephews, Bart (Teresa) Reynolds of Troy, IL, Barry Reynolds of Colfax, IA and Tyler (Stefanie) Roberts of Lahaina, HI, three great nieces, Jesianne Reynolds (Austin Olsson), Delrae Reynolds and Sophia Roberts, one great nephew, Porter Reynolds, and a great great niece Nollie Olsson, as well as many more family members and friends, especially long-time friend Peg Campbell and her special companion, her pup Parker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
As were Pam's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Ollie Community Building in Ollie, with burial of ashes in Ollie Cemetery following. Memorial contributions in Pam's honor may be made to Heartland Humane Society of Ottumwa or to Hospice Compassus of Washington and may be sent to Lisa Roberts, P.O. Box 334, Richland, IA 52585.
