LANCASTER – Patricia Ann Metcalf died on June 30, 2025, at Grant Regional Health Center surrounded by her family and two best friends. She was born October 15, 1945, in Lancaster, the daughter of Ervin and Wilma (Reynolds) Hutchcroft. She grew up in Lancaster and graduated from Lancaster High School. On September 4, 1965, she married Lawrence Bailey, they were married for 18 years. On January 7, 1995, she married John Metcalf, they were married for 30 years. Patti was a huge Packer fan; we all called her Packer Patti. Her house was full of Packer memorabilia. If you were at her house visiting and the game was coming on it was a good thing to just leave because she could get quite feisty. She had a love for her family that was like no other. She would never turn her back on any of us when the going got tough.
She is survived by her husband, John; her four children: Brenda Bailey, Larry (Mandy Anderson) Bailey, Andrea Brooks, and Aimee McKinney; she was blessed with nine grandchildren: Brittani (John Wells) Stoney, Cole (Lexi) Stoney, Willow Bailey (who was a complete miracle for our family. Mom hung on long enough to meet and fall in complete love with Willow), Andrew Smith, Kimberly Brooks, Kaylee Brooks, Braiden McKinney, Kinzey McKinney, and Ethan McKinney; she also had three great-granddaughters: Emmilyn Stoney, Brynley Howell, and Kacie Smith; three siblings: Ervin "Mick" Hutchcroft, Angi Hutchcroft-Arttus and Stacey Hutchcroft; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and we can’t forget Sharron and Julie, we want to thank you both for taking such good care of mom; and of course Peanut, her faithful friend that she had for years who will miss her so much.
She was preceded in death by her mom and dad: Wilma and Ervin Hutchcroft; step-father, Robert Sisley; her sisters: Bonnie Jackering and Dixie Riley; and two brothers-in-law, George Jackering and Robert Arttus.
There will be a service at 12:00 p.m. Noon at the First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster on July 12, 2025, with a Celebration of life following at the Beetown town hall.
1234 S Madison St, Lancaster, WI 53813
