Cherryl ‘’Patrice’’ Cader Smith was born May 22,1956 in Winnfield, La to the union of her parents, Sidney Cecil Cader and Lois ‘’Joan’’ Cader. She passed from this life peacefully on November 22, 2024.
Patrice was preceded in death by her Father, Sidney Cecil Cader, Mother, Lois Joan Cader, Husband Calvin Huey Smith SR, Sister Susan Cader Lindsey, and Brother Joeseph Sidney Cader, dear friends; Francis “Sugar” Sanders and Cherie “Crackers” Wilson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son; Jon Cader and wife Misti, brother; Michael Cader and wife Annette, grandchildren; JonMichael Cader and Dorrian Gagne, great granddaughter; Aurora Gagne, nieces; Dani Skinner and husband Matt, Natasha Carlin and husband Adam, Stephanie Love and husband Cody, Amanda Humphries and husband Jordan, nephew; Chris Cader, great nieces; Kyrstin, Alexia, and Maddie Love, Addie and Lilli-Kate Carlin, Jenna Humphries ,Great Nephews; Ethan Bagley, Jude Dabb, and Wyatt King, half siblings; Carla Guillet and husband John, Ricky Shirley and wife Dana..
Patrice was very loving and nothing was more important to her than spending time with her family and friends ; except maybe her dogs. She enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino and bingo nights.
Around town most knew her as Ms Patrice, but If you were a beloved family member you referred to her as “Tricie”, if you were a close friend you knew her as “Cheese”, to all her nieces and nephews she was just “Auntie”. No matter what you knew her as just know that she loved you with her whole heart………
Graveside services for family and close friends will be 11:00 am Friday December 13, 2024 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield, La with Bro Jimmy White officiating. Family and friends may begin to gather at the cemetery at 10:30AM.
Services are under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
