Patricia L. Buckland, 64, of Burlington, NC formerly of Summers Co., went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, NC following a long illness.
Born April 4, 1961, in Peterstown she was a daughter of the late David O. and Christine Cottle Buckland.
Patricia was a Pharmacy Technician for Scott Clinic in Burlington, NC and a member of River Valley Baptist Church in Forest Hill, WV. She loved gardening and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
She is preceded in death by three brothers; Clifford, Roger, and Ferlin Buckland.
Those left to cherish her memory include one sister, Carol Wood and husband Ron; nieces, Melanie Currens and husband Charles, Shayla Tanksley, Kristy Buckland, and Autumn Buckland; nephew, Justin Buckland and wife Jackie; great nieces, Anna Grace Bennett, Lottie Buckland, and Ellie Buckland; great nephew, Lane Tanksley; and thanks to a special sister in law, Virgie Jollay for her friendship and care of Patricia and also sister in law, Sharon Buckland.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will be Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. At Patricia’s request her body has been cremated and will be interred at the Roles Chapel Church Cemetery at a later date.
