CARGILL, Patricia Jane (Black) – of Grand Blanc, MI, age 76, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, MI 48442, on a later date.
Patricia Cargill was born in Flint, MI on January 24, 1948, daughter of the late John and Gwendolyn (Nesmith) Black. For 30 years, Patricia served as a skilled technician at Michigan Bell, where her work ethic and dedication were truly exemplary. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was a vibrant and active member of Judson Baptist Church, where her faith and compassion shone brightly. Patricia's passion for helping others led her on inspiring missionary journeys to India and China, where she devoted herself to serving communities in need. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit left a lasting impact on those she met around the world.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Michael Cargill; son, Jeff (Christy) Brandt; grandson, Bobby Brandt; 2 siblings, Ronee (Bill) Moore and Jon (Jemilyn) Bothorel; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John Black; mother, Gwendolyn (Yves) Bothorel and brother, Michael Black.
