Patricia Ann "Pat" (Mollett) Griffey, 68, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 6:00 pm, Monday, June 30, 2025, at Parkview Wabash Hospital. She was born on November 12, 1956, in Paintsville, Kentucky, to James and Margie (Watson) Mollett.
Pat moved to Wabash in 1978. She married Elmer Griffey in Wise, Virginia on February 13, 1980; he died January 2, 2022. She worked at Snyder Electric in Huntington, Indiana, retiring in 2017. Pat was a member of the Cathedral of Praise in Wabash, and enjoyed fishing and cooking.
She is survived by her step-son, Bruce (Susan) Griffey of Fort Wayne, Indiana; godson Tim (Nadine) Baker of Pierceton, Indiana; five grandchildren including Garrett Griffey and Kaitlin Griffey, both of Fort Wayne; sister, Rose Music, brother, Robert (Carol) Mollett, and her niece who was like her sister, Ebbie (Mark) Passwater, all of Wabash. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Margie Marie Bollinger, brothers, James Mollett and Stewart Mollett, and her sister, Judy Preston.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, July 7, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Ralph Johnson officiating. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Remembrance Mausoleum at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 12-2:00 pm Monday, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is the family for expenses.
