Patricia Lee Hale, born in Willard, Ohio, on October 15, 1939, was called home on May 22, 2025, at the Willows in Willard, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She is now reunited with the love of her life, Ish Hale, whose memory she cherished every day since his passing.
A woman of unwavering kindness, deep compassion, and quiet strength, Patricia lived her life in service to others. She was a dedicated Christian and a lifelong member of the Plymouth United Methodist Church, where her faith remained her foundation and guide through every chapter of her life.
Patricia's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother and a proud, loving grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she loved them fiercely and unconditionally. To her grandchildren, she was lovingly known as "MawMaw"-their angel on Earth-always ready with a warm hug, a word of encouragement, or a soft prayer whispered in their name.
Patricia's legacy is one of grace, love, and enduring faith. She leaves behind a family who will forever be grateful for her gentle spirit and the example she set.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ish Hale; her parents, Donald and Iva Markley; her brother, Jim Markley; and her sister, Suzanne Markley.
She is survived by her children: Dianna Weekley, Terri Wilhelm, Kathy McCormack (Paul Fidler) and Jeff Hale. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Jason (Breanna) Hale, Stephanie Woods, Jon Bilka, Jen (Ben) Hadde, Kaleb (Rosie) McCormack, Brian (Christina) Hale, Alexa (Jiles) Perkins, Ashlee (Nathan) Long, Andy (Meredith) Hale, Jeff Jr. (Summer) Hale, Sheyanne Wilhelm (Josh Reed), and Logan Wilhelm (Regan Gerow), as well as 19 great-grandchildren-and two more on the way.
On behalf of the entire family, they would like to thank the exceptional staff at The Willows at Willard for the amazing care they provided for her during her time there. Your kindness and compassion was so deeply appreciated and the friends she made there brought her endless joy and comfort.
Calling hours will be held at Secor's Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio Friday, May 30, 2025 from 11:00am-1:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 1:00pm. The burial will occur after at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio.
