Patricia Kathryn “Kathy” Hall, 76, of Dubois, Indiana passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at her home. The Tulsa, Oklahoma native was born May 11, 1948, to the late George Robert Martin and Martie Jane Woodard Martin. Kathy invested her life, time, and energy in the most honorable calling of being a devoted wife and loving mother, raising her children and spoiling her grandchildren. She was an avid seamstress sewing articles of clothing and many other items for those she loved. Outside the home, she worked briefly at Hancock Fabrics where she spent most of her paycheck on fabric. Kathy was “frog crazy”! She collected multiple different things but her favorite things to collect were frog items. She had an attractive personality that included being sassy, goofy, and loving all at the same time. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Kathy also was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, David Hall, in March and son, Stephen Anderson in June; sister, Linda Frantz; and her pet pit bull, Gunner.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Stephanie DeYoung (David), Anthony Hall (Yvonne), and Andrew Hall (Jamie); thirteen grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Kari, Cory, Ciara, Hunter, Amora, Jayse, Jalen, Mason, Maddox, Neveah and Mischa and nineteen great-grandchildren; brother, Bob Martin (Susie); several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Kathy Hall will be at noon Friday, August 30 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with same day visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Bells Run Cemetery.
