Patricia King Obituary

Patricia L. "Patty" King, 89, a lifelong resident of Chester, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at her home, where she was being meticulously cared for by her family. Patty had been in failing health for some time.
She was born in Chester on December 2, 1935, to the late Roy and Evelyn DeBee Enochs.
Patty had a straight-to-the-point, no-beat-around-the-bush personality, one that suited her well as the long-time owner and operator of the P-2 club in Chester. She was also a loving homemaker to her husband, Hughie, and children, and she worked as a poll worker in Hancock County for several years.
Along with her parents, her daughter, Sandra Lynn Shreve Bosco, granddaughter, Jacquelyn D. Bekar Shultz, and siblings, Paul Enochs, Marty Enochs, Bill Enochs, Chuck Enochs, Bonnie Latham, and Kevin "Jake" Enochs, preceded her in death.
Left with fond memories are her children, Jack W. Shreve II of Canton, and Patricia (Sean) Broadbent of East Liverpool; her sister, Debbie Staats; and grandchildren, Zach, Tori (Ryan) Hess, Jordan Shreve, and Billy and Michael Pomeroy. In addition, Patty is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Patty's family will abide by her wishes and not hold any services. The Arner Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with these arrangements.
