Patricia King Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Falls Funeral Home & Cremation Center - Wichita Falls on Dec. 4, 2025.
Patricia Irene King, 82, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, in her hometown of Wichita Falls, Texas. Born on March 15, 1943, to Ernest and Myrtice Burge, Patricia grew up surrounded by family, warmth, and strong values.

Patricia graduated from high school and went on to earn her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, a foundation she used to dedicate her early career to helping adolescents at the Wichita Falls State Hospital. Her love for learning never faded; later in life, she proudly earned a General Studies degree from the University of New Mexico.

In her thirties, Patricia met and married Lesley Craver, and together they welcomed their daughter, Joy, who became the center of her world. Later, she remarried Mr. King, with whom she shared loving years before his passing.

Patricia's life was deeply shaped by her family. She adored her daughter Joy and son-in-law Ken, delighted in her granddaughter Myrtice, and cherished her great-granddaughter Ellianna, who brought her immense joy in her later years. Her home was never complete without the gentle presence of her beloved cats, companions she doted on daily.

Known for her quick wit, keen humor, and endless supply of stories, Patricia had a remarkable ability to turn ordinary moments into treasured memories. Her laughter, warmth, and vibrant personality left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Myrtice Burge, and her late husband, Mr. King. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Ken Judd; her granddaughter, Myrtice Judd, her great-granddaughter, Ellianna Taylor-Judd, her sister Elizabeth Machgan and niece Lucinda Scheib-Novosel.
