Patricia Leake Obituary

Patricia Ann Leake, 72, passed peacefully into the arms of God on July 2, 2025, at Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, Maryland.
Born on August 11, 1952, in Long Island, New York, Patricia was the beloved daughter of Edwin and Dorothy Kulikowski. She devoted much of her professional life to serving others as a medical receptionist, where her warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on patients and coworkers alike.
Patricia had a heart full of generosity. She never missed a birthday or holiday, always ensuring her loved ones had gifts-even if it meant going without herself. She had a playful love for shopping channels like QVC and the Home Shopping Network, and she took delight in finding the perfect deal.
A woman of deep faith, Patricia was a devoted Catholic who found strength and peace in her spiritual life. Her greatest joy, however, came from her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Leake. She is survived by her two sons, Michael and Phil Desbrow; daughters-in-law, Amy and Katie; and her cherished grandchildren: Bailey, Macey, Hadley, and Jade.
Patricia will be cremated, and her ashes will be laid to rest beside her husband Joe in Dallas, Texas, during a private family ceremony at a later date.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
