Patricia Ann McLain, 69, of Gallipolis, Ohio died Wednesday, July 9, 2025, in Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room, Gallipolis, Ohio. Born March 15, 1956, in Gallipolis, she was the daughter of the late James Lee and Mary Ruth (Bryant) French. Patricia married Charles "Mike" McLain December 14, 1974, and he survives.

To this union were born two children: Richard Lee (Kim Cloud) McLain, St. Cloud, Florida and Jennifer (Steven) Swords, Jr., Gallipolis; grandchildren, Chantelle McLain and Savannah Swords and a great-grandson, Grayson Swords. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Beverly (Richard) Moore, Racine, Ohio and Melinda McLain, Pomeroy, Ohio as well as a host of other extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a brother-in-law, James McLain.

A Memorial service will be held Monday, July 14, 2025, 5:00 PM, in Bulaville Christian Church with Pastor Bob Hood officiating. A Gathering of Friends will be held Monday, 4:00-5:00 PM at the church. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, who is honored to serve the McLain Family.
