Pat was born on November 10, 1945, in Buncombe County to the late Roy and Otabelle Conner. She was an avid gardener and loved working in her flowers and spending time with her family. She was a member of Broad River Baptist Church and retired from Cane Creek Cycling. Pat was a loving and caring wife, nana, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Conner.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 25 years, Harry Moody; daughter, Sherri Freeman Lyda; grandchildren, Jacob Lyda (Erin), Riley Lyda and Tucker Lyda; sister, Debra Kendrick (Robert); sister-in-law, Vickie Conner; and nieces, Penny Conner, Wendy Owenby (Scotty), and Becky Frost (John).
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00pm at Broad River Baptist Church. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at 2:00pm at the church with Rev. Joe George officiating. Burial will be in Broad River Baptist Church Cemetery.
