Patricia Ann Morris, affectionately known to friends and family as Pat, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford DE, after a brave battle with cancer. Born on August 19, 1939, in Wilmington, DE, Pat's life was a testament to her deep love she had for her family and friends.

Pat was born to the late Arthur and Miriam Bennett. She graduated from William Penn High School in 1957. In Pat's youth she would participate in roller skating shows at the local roller rink. She would soon meet her husband of 57 years at Electric Hose and Rubber Co. where they worked together.

Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles Morris Sr., with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories, sisters Barbra Jarrett, Frances Cochran, and brother William Bennett. Her loving presence will be deeply missed by her siblings Shirley Thorpe (Gary), and James Bennett. She was a pillar of strength and comfort for her children, Charles Morris Jr. (Rosario), Robert Morris, Michael Morris (Donna) and daughter Laurie Drass. Pat's legacy of love continues through her adoring grandchildren Ana Morris (Alberto) Ashley Morris, Sara Morris (Abraham), Molly Drass, Brenda Hartnett (Michael), and Brooks Hobson (Esther). She was also a great-grandmother to Alberto Márquez Morris, Trever Hartnett, Camryn Hartnett, Kala Hobson, Brooklyn Hobson, and Harper Hobson.

Pat was always extending a hand of kindness and support to those in need. Her interests were simple yet profound. She cherished spending time with family. Pat loved laughing with her granddaughters, baking sweet treats, and completing her word puzzles. She was a big board game lover. Family game nights were a staple in her life. Christmastime was a huge part of Pat's life. She loved baking cookies and giving them to her loved ones along with wrapping as many presents as she could. Many nights were spent in the local Friendly's where you could find her and Charlie eating their banana splits.

As we bid farewell to Patricia Ann Morris, we celebrate the beautiful long lasting life she lived with courage and grace. We will cherish the time spent with her as she shared stories and laughter. She will continue to live on through her beloved family. Pat was blessed with a beautiful long life filled with love, laughter and compassion. Her family will miss her deeply but find peace in knowing she is with her loving husband again.

A viewing will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 10 to 11 AM in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Wilmington, Delaware.
