Patricia Kay Rice, 71 passed away on Tuesday July 1st, 2025, at 1:30 pm in Roswell New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with the Rice and the Weaver family at www.andersonbethany.com.
There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, at 9 am and a funeral service at 10 am at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 2609 South Main Street, Roswell New Mexico. An interment will follow at South Park Cemetery, located at 3101 South Main Street, Roswell New Mexico.
On September 5, 1953, at 2 pm, Patricia Kay Rice was born to James Lafayette Rice and Pearlie Mae Watson in Bay Minette, Alabama. She married Howard Morris Weaver, and they have 2 daughters, Anita Elaine Ozuna and Angela Michelle Saldana. Prior to her retirement, Patricia Kay Rice worked as a CNA/Medication Aide for many years. Her favorite things to do was to go Fishing and to play Gin Rummy (cards). Her 2 favorite restaurants were Milano's Italian Restaurant in Weslaco Texas and Red Lobster. Her favorite color was Red. She has 5 grandkids: Alfredo Rangel Jr. and Christina Marie Rangel and Elias Isacc Saldana and Dahlia Alicia Saldana and Alexis Leann Saldana whom she loved very much. Her favorite Bible Scripture was Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans, I have for you, " declares the Lord," plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Patricia Kay Rice will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is gone but not forgotten. Heaven received another Angel.
The family of Patricia Kay Rice wishes to extend sincere thanks to Angel Ortiz and his family, Liza Zains, Victor Perez, Belen Trevino, Oralia Lenny, Florinda Pillado and her family, Rudy Rodriguez, Veronica Rodriguez and Angela Milano. Thank Y'all very much from the bottom of our heart to everyone who has called, texted, sent prayers our way and who donated money for funeral expenses during this very difficult and sad time in our lives. Everything is greatly appreciated. May God bless Y'all today and always!!! Thank you again everyone.
