Patricia Sullivan Obituary

Patricia "Pat" Sullivan, born August 19, 1953, in Roseburg, OR, found life's greatest joy in her family. She made it her lifelong mission to pour herself into being homemaker, devoted wife, mother, and follower of Christ.
In 1973, Pat married Ryan Sullivan, her high school sweetheart and devoted husband of 52 years. She added "Mom" to her mission when the Lord blessed her with daughters Selena and Heather in 1977 and again in 1979. In the early 1980's, Pat found herself, Ryan, and the girls transplanted in the faraway land of Ruston, LA, where Ryan was transferred to work.
Through her life's hills and valleys, Pat never failed to have a smile, a laugh, or a kind word to give. She had God's light in her, and you could see her blue eyes gleam or hear the sparkle in her voice.
On October 20th, Pat, surrounded by family, went to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and loved ones that had gone on before her. Pat will be deeply missed, as her presence has had an immeasurable impact on the lives of those around her.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Clo "Mo" Pearman.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Ryan Sullivan; mother-in-law, Edith Sullivan; two daughters, Heather Sullivan and Selena Preaus (Justin); two granddaughters, Kate Sullivan Preaus and Sarah Margaret Preaus; sister, Paula Chapin; brother, David Pearman; nephews, Daniel Coats and Donnie Coats; and niece, Christina Walker.
At her request, no public services will be held. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date and wishes to thank Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Ruston for coordinating arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Northeast Louisiana Food Bank, a charity dear to Pat's heart.
