Pat Turcott, age 81, of Milner, passed away peacefully on July 6,2025. Pat was a beloved mother, adventurer, and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and a creative spirit.
She was born and raised in Rochester, New York and was married to Dan Turcott for 41 wonderful years. Together, they explored the open roads of America and built a life of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
A true free spirit, Pat embraced adventure wholeheartedly. In the early 1970s, she even lived "off the grid," long before it was trendy.
Pat's pastimes were canning, cooking, baking, crafting, quilting, gardening, wild food foraging, and photography. Her creativity and connection to nature were evident in all she did, and she generously shared her talents with those around her.
She was also a proud member of the VFW Riders Club, where she was known by her rider name, "Egypt." She was devoted to her community and her country. Pat will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Harold Neubauer and Mary Wood; husband: Dan Turcott; brother: Jeff Neubauer; and daughter: Halley Turcott (8 months old).
She is survived by her daughters: Mary Ann Kassel (Jim) and Jennifer Purcell; significant other: Jack Pridmore; grandchildren: Colleen Curphey (Jason), Dani Purcell, Kayla Costley (Dakotah), Robert Kassel (Heather) and Taylor Sandford; and 6 great grandchildren.
