Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home of Jackson CenterPatricia Lynne Woolley, 71, of Jackson Center, passed away peacefully at 1:02 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Landings of Sidney. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on September 2, 1953, to the late Robert Eugene Moody and Joan (Strayer) Moody, who survives.
On April 7, 1973, she married Timothy Woolley, and he survives.
Patricia is also survived by her children, Joni (Chris) Burmeister, Nikki (Mike) Tontrup, and Brad (Stephanie) Woolley; grandchildren, Konnor and Kelsie Burmeister, Kaitlyn and Zach Tontrup, and Calvin and Macie Woolley; sister, Connie Engler; brother, Steve Moody; and several nieces and nephews.
Patricia worked as a bus driver for Hardin Houston Local Schools and as a school cook for Jackson Center Local Schools. She was affiliated with the Shelby County Genealogy Society. Patricia collected antiques and was an avid seamstress, receiving awards for her dolls. She also earned recognition for her cooking abilities and had recipes published in “The Country Woman Cookbooks.” Patricia participated in and judged county fairs and youth 4-H culinary events. She engaged in gardening, growing flowers and vegetables, and maintained an interest in horses. Each week, she baked goods for her children and grandchildren. Over the years, Patricia sewed and accessorized 100 dolls to display at the county fair.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, 607 S. Main Street, Jackson Center. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church. A meal for family and friends will follow the memorial service.
